Installation:
1 - Locate your steam account folder.
(C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\)
2 - Move the existing counter-strike folder to your desktop.
(It is best to install this GUI on a "fresh install", so this step is necessary. Be sure to back up your maps and any models you use.)
3 - Extract the ESEA GUI's "counter-strike" folder from the correct resolution folder to your steam account folder.
(C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\)
4 - Edit the userconfig to your liking.
(Note: adding rates to your userconfig disables the rate selection in the advanced multiplayer menu options as the userconfig is executed every time you click apply.)
5 - Open the commandmenu.txt and edit the rcon_password with your server's rcon password.
(C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\\counter-strike\cstrike)
6 - Open Counter-Strike and set your binds, advanced options, and personal settings.
7 - Add any maps to the maps folder from your old counter-strike folder.
(C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\\counter-strike\cstrike\maps)
NOTE: You can use your personal configs and userconfigs, but it is recommended to use the ones supplied in this GUI. It is also recommended that you make your config read-only after you have edited your personal settings. Remember to add the model/vgui fix if you need it (located in this file).
